据分析师 PlanB 称，过去十年里，Ethereum 相比 Bitcoin 表现不佳，目前 ETH/BTC 比率大约为 0.026，和 2016 年 3 月的水平一致。PlanB 指出，尽管 2023–2024 年近期市场出现反弹，Ethereum 相对于 Bitcoin 却未能显著增值，这种模式也在 2017 年和 2021 年的牛市周期中出现过。该分析师补充称，即便在现在，Ethereum 也缺乏相对于 Bitcoin 的上行动能。
