According to Federal Election Commission filings as of Thursday, Fairshake PAC-affiliated groups Defend American Jobs and Protect Progress disclosed spending a combined $1.5 million on media supporting House and Senate candidates in Florida, Alaska, and Wyoming following a primary loss for a crypto-backed candidate in Michigan's 13th Congressional District on Tuesday.

Defend American Jobs spent over $500,000 supporting Representative Nick Begich's re-election in Alaska's at-large district, and about the same amount for Republican candidate Sydney Gruters in Florida's 16th district and Representative Harriet Hageman, running for Wyoming's soon-to-be-vacant Senate seat. All three states are scheduled to hold primaries on August 18.
